【Product Description】 "Korea: The Mobile War" is a solitaire game featured in the game-included magazine Strategy & Tactics #349, published by Decision Games. The player controls the UN forces, while the communist forces (North Korea, China, and the Soviet Union) are controlled by the system.
This game allows players to strategically experience the battles of the Korean War from June 1950 to June 1951.
Losing all city spaces on the Korean Peninsula results in sudden death, making the early stages crucial for waiting for reinforcements and skillfully managing resources to rebuild the front lines.
Just like in history, finding the right moment for a counterattack allows for a sudden offensive, but the intervention of the Chinese Volunteer Army and the Soviet Air Force presents a challenging situation. In addition to the base scenario included with Strategy & Tactics #349, a Japanese version scenario is also available.
This issue's articles include: the first year of the Korean War from a military doctrine perspective, developer notes for "Korea: The Mobile War" introductions to Korean War-related games, operational studies for "Operation Typhoon," additional scenarios for "TANKS+" based on the Korean War, and various other serials.
