【Product Description】 "Panzers in the Snow: The Battle of the Bulge" is the fifth installment in the Command Basic series, themed around the German "Wacht am Rhein" operation that began on December 16, 1944.
The game recreates the period from December 16th to the 26th, when the offensive stalled, in a total of six turns.
One player controls the German forces, while the other controls the Allied forces, consisting of American and British troops.
The German forces must advance northwestward across the Meuse River, occupying key cities or crossing the Ardennes Forest, within the six turns.
The Allied forces, on the other hand, must manage their limited troops and arriving reinforcements to halt the German advance.
The game employs a system where both players take turns moving and fighting one unit at a time.
While each move is small, strategic planning and foresight will influence the flow of the game.

This game was originally released by Sho Kikaku in 1990 and later re-released as a supplement in Command Magazine issue 46 in 2002. This basic version is based on the rules and components of the Command Magazine version.

[Enhanced Rulebook]
The Command Magazine version's rulebook had small print and omitted gameplay examples, making it somewhat difficult for beginners to understand. Therefore, in the basic version, gameplay examples have been restored, and supplementary information has been added to areas that tend to be confusing. We've also added gameplay tips and a historical overview.
