【Product Description】 The supplementary game features all 25 daimyo families and approximately 40 famous warlords who dominated Japan during the Sengoku period.
At the start of the game, each player drafts one daimyo family from one of the six home provinces (Oda, Takeda, Uesugi, Hojo, Mori, or Shimazu) and three allied nations from the Kinai, Eastern, or Western regions, and divides them into six factions.
From powerful daimyo families like Oda and Takeda to lesser daimyo like Satake, Imagawa, Saito, Ouchi, Amago, Otomo, and Ryuzoji, the game recreates the battles of various Sengoku daimyo across Japan. Who will become the hegemon of the world?
To play, players draw one chit from a cup for each of the six factions, plus one for Honganji, and the faction drawn plays.
A unique rule is that when a chit for Honganji or a "non-player" force that is not in the player's control is drawn, the player who last drew their force's chit will take charge of the "non-player" force's play. This allows the actions of each force, including the "non-player" forces, to unfold in a natural and fluid manner.
