【Product Description】 This is the Japanese version of a solo-play simulation game released by White Dog Games in 2017, in which the player commands the British Army to retake the Falkland Islands during the 1982 Falklands War.
Forty years ago, in 1982, Argentina invaded the Falkland Islands, claiming sovereignty over them, but the UK firmly rejected their claim.
Prime Minister Thatcher ordered the military into action, saying that no matter what the price now, overlooking the violation of international law by force would lead to even greater sacrifices in the future.
In "Falklands War Solitaire: Thatcher's War," you are tasked with leading the British Army to retake the Falkland Islands, which are under the control of the Argentine Army.
Commanding the army, navy, and air forces, you will aim to retake Port Stanley while dealing with unforeseen circumstances such as weather and international situations, and paying attention to public opinion.
The exploits of the Harrier, the threat of the Exocet, submarine attacks...the entire Falklands War is recreated on the board.
