【Product Description】 "Balkan Gamble: The Invasion That Werent, 1943-45" is an operational-level game that explores the historical what-if scenario of "What if Allied forces had landed in the Balkans?"
There are four scenarios in total. The 1943 and 1944 scenarios use orders of battle based on actual deception operations.
The 1945 scenario, Operation Gelignite, was designed to block the German Army Group F's withdrawal from Yugoslavia from both the sea (British Eighth Army) and land (Soviet forces and partisans). And the 1950 scenario, Operation Sliva, deals with Stalin's "punitive invasion" of Yugoslavia.
This magazine's articles include an introduction to domestic and international games released in 2025 in the 2026 edition of This Simulator is Amazing! and the additional scenario "Battle of Inchon" for "TOGO: The Great Naval Battle of Tsushima (2nd Edition)."
