【Product Description】
This issue contains a trilogy of playable games designed by Roshi Tengshing that can be played quickly and with simple rules.
"Genpei War in Bando Region" is based on the acclaimed "Taihei-ki" system and recreates the battles between the Minamoto and the Taira clans in Bando, from Minamoto no Yoritomo's rise to power to the Battle of the Fuji River.
"Three Kingdom Saga after Red Cliffs" recreates the battle for Jingzhou between Cao Cao, Sun Quan, and Liu Bei immediately after the Battle of Red Cliffs, using "Competition for relic area of Takeda clan" system from Issue 51 of this magazine, as a competitive game between two players.
Each player takes one of the three forces of Cao Cao, Sun Quan, and Liu Bei, and the remaining force becomes the "Third Force". Players must use the "third force" to their advantage, and guess which force the opponent is, in order to lead their force to victory.
"Minsk 1941" recreates the battles of the German Central Army Group at the beginning of Barbarossa in the Soviet Union's Untried system.
The sequence is a simple movement-battle procedure, but if the battle results in a retreat/removal, armored units can advance to 2-3 hexes, and a breakthrough and encirclement can be achieved.
The unit also comes with 9 additional counters for this magazine's Issue 74 Modern Naval battle by JPN & CHN & KOR.
