【Product Description】 This issue's supplemental game is "Battle for Kursk: The Tigers are Burning, 1943," which was included in C3i Magazine Nr. 34, released in 2021 by RBM Studio.
This work cuts a bird's-eye view of the Battle for Kursk with the close up of the German Central Army Group and Southern Army Group battlefields in 1943, and finishes by incorporating the battle into the campaign.
The game begins in the immediate aftermath of the Third Battle of Kharkov. On the map, German and Soviet units are lined up vertically in battle lines.
With only 120 counters used in the game, including markers, and a two-step configuration that is unstackable and does not use auxiliary counters, the map will seem uncluttered for the number of units lined up.
The work is designed to capture the battles around Kursk from a strategic scale perspective.
